This has nothing to do with anything, but I feel compelled to tell you. Our TV is hooked up to a computer tower. We leave the keyboard and mouse out on the coffee table. We don’t have cable. We watch all of our TV on local channels via an antennae or online. So, today I went to the gym to teach a class and when I came home I turned on the TV, ready to put on some Pandora to work to. What I found was insane.
So many, many, many Internet Explorer windows were open. I’m talking tons. Everything was frozen. I opened the Task Manager, to find more than 70 I.E. windows open. Crazy. 70. You are reading right.
So how did this happen? A ghost? A weird home invader that only screws up your computer? No…I’ll tell you who the culprit was.
Panda.
Yes, Panda Miss Kitty. Sometimes she can make the computer do things I have never imagined. She’s actually a computer engineer in her spare time. She has this unique technique of walking, standing, laying on the keyboard followed by sitting on the mouse that can really create an impressive effect. What can I say? She’s a genius.
It took me quite some time to shut down everything that she had opened. Luckily there wasn’t anything too confusing. Just a gazillion I.E. windows, and some audio settings to reset.
I hope you like cats. If you don’t, you should. They are so cute that even when they do annoying things, it doesn’t matter…because they are just that precious.
Amy
PS–tomorrow I’ll tell you just how not-sneaky I am. Let’s just say…Derek knows about the kitchen…
